Violence in Video Games
Are some video games too violent? Can they affect the people
who play them? Is it dangerous to let children play them?
There have been several stories in the news about violent video
games. They ask whether they can have an effect on people's behaviour
and links to criminal acts. People are discussing whether they
should be censored, certificated more heavily or banned completely.
Your task is to write a letter to your local Member of Parliament
that explains your opinions on the issue, based on research that
you have done.
Asking an MP to put your views across in Parliament is known
as 'lobbying.' You want him or her to take your views on board
and try to influence government policy and national law.
