Extension Task

You have decided, along with a group of friends, to launch a campaign that will try to convince as many people as possible that your views on violent video games are correct.

As part of the campaign, you will create a series of posters, flyers and a website.

You have decided that you need an image that will appear in all your publicity material.

Your group have decided on the following aspects of the image:

• it must use at least two images from video games
• it can incorporate a slogan but the slogan can be no more than ten words long
• the image must be 15cm x 15cm
• it will be in colour but must also reproduce clearly in greyscale (black and white)
• the argument must be very clear and put across its message clearly

You can use a graphics package such as Fireworks or Photoshop Elements to produce your image. It should try to put across the same message as your letter.

The main focus of this exercise is using images, and some text, to convey an argument to a different audience.
