Unit 1 - Word Processing
In this unit, you will build on your basic word processing skills
to produce a poster about the safe use of computers.
Some of the skills you will use include:
- Searching the internet
- Entering and formatting text
- Managing page layout
- Using graphics
- Proof reading your work to check for errors
- Targeting your work at a particular audience
- Evaluating your own work
Topics
1 - About yourself
Use a word processor to create a single page of A4 that tells
your teacher about who you are.
How you present it is up to you. The design should reflect your
character and should include words and pictures that could help
your teacher learn about your:
- Your hobbies and interests
- Your family and pets
- Your favourite sports, films, food, etc
- Where you live and where you went to primary school
This will probably take 2-3 lessons
